International Primary Curriculum
The International Primary Curriculum is a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum with a clear process of learning.
From Year 1, children at TradeWinds are taught knowledge, skills and understanding for a range of curriculum areas through one exciting theme. All learning is underpinned by 9 Personal Learning Goals that form an important part of our school ethos. These important skills celebrate holistic development and help the children at TradeWinds become active learners and responsible citizens.

Each IPC topic starts with an Entry Point to capture the children's imagination. The topics that are covered are both relevant and interesting, and the thematic and practical approach that the IPC offers encourages every child to be an active and enthusiastic learner.
At the end of each topic, the learning journey is shared with other members of the school community in an Exit Point. This celebration of learning is a valuable part of the IPC experience and TradeWinds.
As well as the International Primary Curriculum areas, children at TradeWinds also have regular lessons in swimming, physical education, the arts and Kiswahili.
