Wellbeing is incredibly important to all of us here at TradeWinds Academy and we strive to provide an environment of support for all. We want to help make sure that our faculty: love learning, love learners and love bringing those things together. Our class sizes are small and teachers have release time each week for planning, preparation or their own professional development. We are fortunate to have faculty members from around the world, sharing a diverse range of knowledge, skills and experience, and we try to utilise people's strengths as much as possible through flexible timetabling. It is wonderful to be part of such a multicultural team with one united focus - the families of TradeWinds Academy.
We have high expectations of our teachers as we want to provide the best standard possible for our learners. We expect classroom spaces to reflect quality teaching, we expect constant feedback for learners and we expect organised, well-sequenced lessons across the curriculum. We expect faculty members to ask for help when it is needed. We also expect our team to leave early on Friday afternoons to begin their weekend, spend time with their families and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
